The Hare
Common Ground Workshop have been commissioned to develop a mixed use proposal for The Hare, a historical public house located in Tower Hamlets, in close proximity to the Young V&A, Empress Works and Broadway Market.
As pubs rapidly close across London, the proposal seeks to ensure the future stability of The Hare by both updating the existing commercial space and creating a series of residential flats for rental. We worked closely with the Client to establish a brief that includes 3 new apartments of between 1 and 3 beds, each with private external amenity, alongside greatly improved commercial premises and BOH and Ground floor and Basement level.
