Common Ground Workshop creates distinctive, thoughtful and collaborative responses for the built environment.

Our ambition is to create beautiful and unique places for people to live, inhabit and enjoy. We embrace a diverse range of ideas and develop strong working partnerships with our clients, stakeholders and wider communities, making better, more sustainable, and socially connected buildings.

Working across a wide range of private residential and hybrid commercial projects, we specialise in reimagining the full potential and character of existing buildings and new sites, creating a tailored and highly-crafted response for every project.

We work across all RIBA Stages, from formulating an initial brief and a project vision to delivering exceptional buildings that surpass our client’s expectations.

Sustainability and Social Value

Our approach is two-fold: We seek high energy efficiency and low carbon design as standard, and are engaged in continuous research to utilize sustainable materials internally and externally.

Secondly, we provide for social sustainability by future proofing all our buildings and promoting flexible and agile space. This can take a number of forms, from allowing for a range of possible use patterns, including home working and family growth, and changing operations within commercial units.

We design Inclusive, immersive and egalitarian spaces that create delight and promote wellbeing, cohesiveness, and connectivity with the outdoors and the natural environment.
