The Canrobert Street kitchen responded to the clients detailed brief of a modular looking series of casements which could be moved out and or pulled apart and or re-located. The final design adopted the initial ideas of modularity in form through the use of a macro metal frame with plywood boxes inserted in-between, however the principles of moving and relocating the kitchen units was impossible to achieve due to the servicing of each unit to either a plumbing or electrical main. The clients detailed involvement led to the final resolution of fixture placements and adjacencies.
