Lea Workspaces
Common Ground Workshop have been commissioned to develop workspace proposals for a range of retail units at London City Island and Goodluck Hope.
The brief called for us to repurpose 4 retail units to provide workspace, education, and manufacturing hubs with flexible desk configurations. The new hybrid workspace suite will provide desks for hire as well as 4-8 desk offices and to provide start-up incubator space. These are to be aimed at attracting the wider Newham and Tower Hamlets communities to engage with the site and public realm.
Operations are to be facilitated from a proposed Clubhouse and Workspace unit that sits at the heart of London City Island adjacent to the Canning Town Bridge and English National Ballet.
